Our Philosophy
The purpose of Immersion Montessori Academy is to serve children and provide each child with a positive attitude toward self, others and to provide a developmentally early childhood experience with Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Cognitive Development, and Language Literacy Skills.

Our Mission at Immersion Montessori Academy is to provide a high quality program that meets the needs of every child and family. We strive to create an environment in which diverse abilities, cultural differences, and unique talents of all members are recognized and celebrated. By including children of all ability levels, we honor our understanding that when all children learn together, children of all levels benefit substantially.
Small Classes
IIMA maintains small classes to encourage individualized education. Classes are kept small in order to create student-teacher interaction.
Facility
Communication with our parents is very important. Scheduled parent/teacher conferences are available at the end of every semester. Monthly newsletters that notify parents of special events and monthly theme units are always available in our reception area, all of our classrooms and playground are equipped with security cameras. In order to uphold security, access to the school is restricted electronically. IIMA Parents receive a personal code to provide access to the building during school hours. Once inside, we are taking the additional measure to ensure the safety of your child to restrict exit electronically by staff.

Preschool Curriculum Overview
Preparing your child for the path ahead
Two way immersion, also called Bilingual immersion, combines language in the classroom. The idea is to get two types of speakers proficient in both languages. We embrace a learning environment that will prepare your child for the path ahead. Our classes incorporate traditional learning styles as well as hands-on Montessori experiences. As a year round Bilingual Academy we provide a rich and diverse environment.
IIMA offers a program that incorporates an environment with small class ratios. We are aligned with state standards for public school. Our program offers a more individual attention, improved student safety, better student discipline and is almost one-half the size of most public school classes! IIMA students will be introduced into the world of science, creative arts, math, and language development.
